A large range is stocked 40-8 TPI 0.5-3.0 ISO all fitting one tip holder.
Tip holders are stocked in usual ISO standard sizes.
Special forms and grooving inserts can be manufactured to order.

| It is important to select a toolholder with the most appropriate helix clearance angle. This is to avoid the sides of
the insert rubbing against the thread flanks produced during the screw cutting operation. The following charts are guides in determining the helix angle generated, simply by cross-referencing the major diameter of the thread to be cut with its pitch (ISO) or TPI (imperial). |
